Amazing Deal of the Week: Sale at Sephora
Its very rare that you will see me post an Amazing Deal of the week on things that are really not that cheap and actually not on sale for a specified amount of time, but these are only on sale until Sephora runs out of them and I really, really love them, so I thought I would make an exception this time.
The first is the SEPHORA+PANTONE UNIVERSE Elemental Energy Eye Shadow Palette. This palette is on sale right now for $25 for 16 full size eyeshadow shades, which is $1.50 per eyeshadow. This palette has not gotten nearly enough attention, its absolutely beautiful in more than one way. The palette itself is beautiful, the way the colors themselves, the way they are grouped, the different finishes and the texturing that’s put into them makes it so pretty that you can use it as decor. The downside is that its so pretty I don’t want to use it because I don’t want to ruin the patterns. In addition, the shadows come in matte, shimmery and glittery shades in most colors that you could want and they are creamy and blendable. If we are talking about pure eye shadow palettes, this is my favorite one that I have ever purchased or even considered buying. And because I love it so much, its a good deal even at the original $38, so now that its on sale its an amazing value.
I use this palette almost exclusively when I’m not traveling. The one downside is that it is kinda heavy and since it only has eye shadows in it, i find it too cumbersome for travel. For that, I love the SMASHBOX The Master Class Palette II. This palette is more than 2 times the price at $59, but if you travel a lot its worth it, just because it has all the eyeshadows, eyeliners, blushes, highlighters you will ever need, plus a bronzer. I literally just take foundation and lipstick and that’s all the makeup I pack for travel, because really it has it all in a compact presentation. But even then, for pure eyeshadows, I like the SEPHORA+PANTONE UNIVERSE Elemental Energy Eye Shadow Palette more and for the price, its really a no brainer.
The next item that you just can’t pass up (and they are selling out of these, so I’m sorry if you can’t find your shade) is the LORAC Touch-Up To Go. This is a foundation and concealer in one with a built in brush in a pen form. The formula is really great and looks like nice glowy skin. Its good for all skin types and it says its also good for sensitive skin. Its on sale for $21 at Sephora, but if you can’t find your shade it also sells at Nordstrom for $28, which is still good for the convenience and quality. But this is actually a really good foundation with a medium coverage and its buildable for concealing, but if you like super high coverage concealers it doesn’t do that, but its a good concealer that is medium-high coverage. This is the only foundation/concealer I take with me when I travel. Its lightweight and the pen fits in my clutch. LOVE. The shade CF5 is a peachy shade and in addition to foundation its a great corrector for dark undereyes.
Love these both enough that they got their own post. I wanted to get these to you before they completely sell out. Let me know in the comments below what your favorite deals are and what products you’re enjoying right now.
